π¦ Coming Soon! My New Pattern: The "Bat Wings" Float-Free Headband
Hey there, my lovely makers! π✨
Autumn is officially in full swing, and preparations for the most mystical holiday of the year—Halloween—are well underway. I am absolutely thrilled to finally share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes: a cozy, stylish headband featuring a bat-wing motif!
For this project, I chose a soft half-wool blend yarn. It’s perfect for that crisp October weather—keeping you warm without causing overheating. But the absolute best part of this headband isn't just the yarn, it’s the technique!
The Secret to a Flawless Inside π€«
I know many crocheters avoid colorwork because they dread tangled yarn and messy floats on the back that constantly snag on your hair. Well, I solved that problem! This entire headband is made using tapestry crochet, completely float-free on the wrong side. The back looks just as neat, smooth, and stretchy as the front.
See How Easy It Is! πΉ
To help you master this method before the pattern drops, I’ve recorded a quick video tutorial. In it, I’ll show you exactly how to carry the non-working yarn inside your stitches and make your color changes completely seamless.
When Will the Pattern Be Available?
I am currently putting the finishing touches on the detailed PDF pattern! It will include full color charts, row-by-row instructions, and size adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.
